Its that time of year. Time to pull out your address book, blow off the dust, and send out those snail mail greeting cards. I don't send things through the mail very often, but when I do, I want to send something special. I could get a pack of holiday cards at the dollar store, but its so much more fun to create your own cards. You don't need to go to a photographer and spend a fortune. You can create your own cards right from home using the simple system at Crinkled Nose. Choose from dozens of beautiful designs and add your favorite family photo.

I am not the most computer savvy person, and I was a little nervous I would never be able to get my cards just right. But Crinkled Nose makes the process simple. The first step is to choose your cards. I went with the ornament Christmas cards.  Next you can choose your size. There are multiple options in both horizontal and vertical shapes. Then you upload your photo and crop it down to fit the card. You can also add in a personal greeting. And that's it! You're done! It takes about five minutes, and that's only if you play around with your photo a little. This system is the quickest and easiest I have tried to date.

I placed my order for my cards on Sunday night, and I received them today! That is only one business day, which I think its absolutely amazing when the items have to be made to order. You can't ask for better service, and I definitely couldn't ask for a more beautiful card. The picture has a nice glossy finish, and the print is bold and bright. Every order comes with large white envelopes, and you can add a foil finish for a small additional fee. My cards came out to $33.95 for a set of 25, which is about half of what they would cost if I had gotten them from a professional photographer. And honestly, they are a lot nicer. The only thing that would make it better is if it were possible to get all four of my kids to smile at the same time. But even a company as awesome as Crinkled Nose can't help me with that:)
