Laser Pegs Review & #Rafflecopter Giveaway

I encourage outdoor play as much as possible, but there will always be days when its raining or just too darn hot and the kids will have to stay inside. I am always looking for ways to keep my kids entertained because I don't want them playing video games or watching TV all day. One great pass time that they really enjoy are building play sets.  All kids love to create something new and exciting.  There are lots of different construction sets out there, but I recently came across one that is a little different from the rest. Laser Pegs are unique building sets because they actually light up!

Laser Pegs use a low voltage LED light with a 100,000 hour life.  As you connect one piece to another, each one lights up. We were lucky enough to receive the Mini Monster Bug to review.  This set contains 36 interchangeable pieces  and instructions to make nine different models. My son has had trouble with some of the more complicated building sets from other companies, but with this one, he was able to assemble the models independently. It was challenging for him, but not so difficult that it was frustrating. Once he had his monster bug completed, he was able to use it as a night light in his room.  He loved how the pieces lit up one by one, like magic, as he went though the assembly process.  This is one toy that kids of all ages, and even a few grown ups, are going to love.

In addition to the Mini Monster Bug set, Laser Pegs also offers Dune Buggies and Tractors. They also have larger sets that come with instructions on how to make dozens of different models. If you are having trouble, you can look online at their videos and instructions. They even have 3D models like robots, butterflies and bridges.  With time and practice, kids can master all kinds of creative projects that take thought, patience and coordination. This is the type of toy, you will actually want to encourage your kids to play with.

One very lucky winner is going to receive a Mini Monster Bug Laser Pegs Construction Set of their own.  To enter, just complete the Rafflecopter form below. Winners will be notified via email and will have 48 hours to reply. Thanks again to Laser Pegs for offering this great prize.
