Summer Birthday Bash! Step 2 Classic Cuisine Kitchen Review & Pin Pals Bowling Set Giveaway

My toddler loves to follow me around in the kitchen. She wants to help get things from the refrigerator, and she helps put the clean dishes away. So I knew she was going to love having a kitchen set of her own. When it comes to the larger toy play sets, there is really only one company to turn to. I have been shopping with Step 2 for years. My older daughter had one of their kitchen sets which I passed down to a cousin. Now that I was ready to get one for Willow, of course I looked there first, and we found exactly what we were looking for in the Classic Cuisine Kitchen.

The Classic Cuisine Kitchen comes with everything a little girls needs to play house in style. There is a refrigerator, oven, microwave, sink, and even a breakfast nook so they can eat once they are done cooking.  It has working lights and the oven really sizzles which gets my little one excited. Its just the right size for a toddler. It doesn't take up too much room and it comes with lots of wicker baskets and cabinets for storage.  Unlike other toy kitchen sets, it also comes with a variety of play food and dishes so you won't even have to buy it separately. Some of them are even made from metal, like the cooking utensils,  making them extra lifelike. At only $159.99 its an affordable choice. Willow absolutely loves it. While I love the finished product, there was a great deal of assembly required to get the kitchen set up. I admit to not being the best at putting things together, but this was tougher than usual. I couldn't get past the first step because the screws wouldn't go through the plastic with a regular screw driver.  I wouldn't recommend attempting to put it together without an electric screw driver. Once my husband got this hands on one, it was a little easier and he had it together in about an hour. It was a little frustrating, but Willow was so happy with it when it was done, it was definitely worth the time it took. Even though we had a hard time, I would still recommend this toy for anyone with a little girl.
