I like to keep journals. I keep a journal of my day to day life. I have a journal filled with my dreams. I even carry around a little journal at all times in case I think of a good line for one of my books. Because of my obsession with journals, I am always looking for unique and fancy note books to add to my collection. My daughter has inherited my love of writing and journals and has a collection of her own. With her birthday coming up, I wanted to find her a journal she would be able to keep and treasure forever. The Hazel Hedgehog Journal we received to review is absolutely stunning. The cover has two adorable little hedgehogs and flowers painted onto the sturdy wood cover. These covers are not going to rip or tear easily.  Its perfect for a little girl, but would be nice for grown ups too. When you open the book you will find lovely parchment style paper. This book is so beautiful, it needs a truly special use. My daughter will probably save it for her poetry or short stories. It even comes in a cute hemp storage bag to help keep it safe.
