If you have grade school kids, chances are you are familiar with the hilarious antics of "Phineas and Ferb". This Emmy award winning show is one of the most popular shows for kids and tweens. The two step brothers spend their summer vacation driving their older sister, Candace, crazy with their insane inventions and out of this world adventures. My children have been following the series since it first premiered three years ago and its one of their all time favorite shows. I also can't help but enjoy their funny but veiled references to eighties icons. Sometimes the kids wonder what I'm laughing at. But our favorite part of the show is, of course, their pet platypus Perry, who lives a double life as a secret agent who is always fighting the evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz to save the tri state area.
If you love Phineas and Ferb as much as we do, you will be excited to hear that they are about to star in their first full length movie! Make sure to mark your calenders. The Disney Original Movie, "Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension", will premiere on Disney Channel on Friday, August 5th at 8pm ET/PT and on Disney XD on Saturday, August 13th at 10 am ET/PT. "When Phineas, Ferb, and Perry follow Dr. Doofenshmirtz through his "Otherdimensionator", they find themselves in an alternate universe where a second, truly evil Dr. Doof rules over his Tristate Area with an army of iron-fisted robots. To save his friends from certain doom, Perry makes the ultimate sacrifice by revealing his secret identity as Agent P. Phineas and Ferb escape, meet their 2nd dimension selves, and begin their own mission to rescue Perry. As they uncover his plot to travel back to their dimension to take over their Tri-state Area, the gang, as well as their alter-egos, must band together to stop him. So begins an epic battle as our heroes try to save their home from the clutches of Evil Dr. Doof... and his sidekick Platyborg."

You can even create a 2D image of yourself! Also be sure to become fan on face book. If you love Perry, to be on the look out for the Perry the Platy-bus". The bus is making a coast to coast journey from New York to San Diego. If you happen to catch up with the bus, you can see a 4000 pound Perry and get a chance to try out the awesome new 3D game, "The Movie Game: The Dimension of Doom." Also be on the look out for lots of great new Phineas & Ferb merchandise coming out this summer including action figures, novels, Playstation and DS games, apparel and more. It really is 104 days of fun this summer, thanks to Phineas and Ferb!
