Jerky John's Beef Jerky Review

I love buying products that are made in America. If they were made by a man who helped to fight for our country's freedom, that is even better. Jerky John's Beef Jerky was created by a former Paratrooper of the US Army.  Jerky John originally designed his jerky for field exercises, but it was so perfect that he decided he had to share it with the world. And thank goodness he did, because Jerky John's Beef Jerky is some of the best I have ever tasted.

For our review, we received four different varieties of beef jerky to try out. The American original was my favorite. This is a more traditional smoked jerky. The other three varieties are Cayenne Hot, Black Pepper, and Pacific Teriyaki. The Cayenne was a little too spicy for me, but my husband assured me it was fantastic, and left his mouth tingling with pleasure. The Black Pepper gives the jerky that little extra oomph, and the Pacific Teriyaki offers an exotic blend of spices and soy.  All of the varieties boast nice, big, chewy pieces, just the way I like it, with lots of smoke house flavor.

Each bag of Jerky John's is available for only $6.99, which is a very affordable price.  But even more important than price is that this is a company that continues to give back to our soldiers. They offer their patronage to several organizations that support our troops including Folds of Honor which offers educational support to military families.  You can also send a four pack of their delicious jerky to a soldier overseas for the discounted price of only $25.

If you would like to learn more about Jerky John's and all they have to offer, you can visit their website. You can also follow them on twitter or become their fan on face book.  In addition to great taste, this beef jerky is also low fat, low calorie, low cholesterol, and has no saturated fat.  Jerky Johns' Beef Jerky is a healthy and tasty snack you can feel good about giving your family. So check them out and start munching on some quality beef jerky today.
