I am very particular about the video games I let my kids play. I have zero tolerance for blood and violence. I also like games that keep kids moving. The Wii is my favorite game system because they encourage interactive play. Its more than just sitting on your butt pushing buttons. You have to actually get up and be a part of the game. Country Dance for Wii is a new game from GameMill Entertainment that is just the type of game I am always on the look out for. It really get kids moving with 25 Chart topping hits from country artists we all know and love. Check out the trailer below to learn more.
Country Dance is rated E so its safe for any of the kids to watch. But because of the difficulty level it is recommended for kids ages ten and older. My daughter is almost eleven, and she had a great time dancing along to all her favorite songs. I also had a great time joining in, although she is a much better dancer and totally kicked my butt. I can blame that on being four months pregnant, right? The game offers full tracks, no annoying partials and has several levels of difficulty from beginner to expert. You can play with up to four players so its a great choice for family game night. The song list includes the following:
- Carrie Underwood, “Cowboy Casanova”
- Brad Paisley, “Water”
- Sugarland, “Stuck Like Glue”
- Trace Adkins, “Honky Tonk Badonkadonk”
- Tim McGraw, “Just to See You Smile”
- Zac Brown Band, “Chicken Fried”
- Rascal Flatts, “Life is A Highway”
- Tracy Byrd, “Watermelon Crawl”
- Josh Turner, “Why Don’t We Just Dance”

- Easton Corbin, “A Little More Country Than That”
- Rascal Flatts, “Life is A Highway”
