Dora the Explorer: It's Haircut Day! DVD Review

One of the big moments in every preschooler's life is the day they get their first haircut. Willow is just a few months away from the big event, and I remember when my two older kids went to the hairdresser for the first time. It was exciting, but a little scary for them. Well now, with the fun new DVD from Dora the Explorer, Its's Haircut Day!, kids can learn from Dora and her friends just how easy it is to get a haircut. Join Dora for four exciting episodes including the following:

Dora's Hair Raising Adventure: Boots really wants to take a picture for his mom, but he is having a bad hair day. Luckily, Dora knows how to help, and makes him to see a barber. Dora and Boots set out on an adventure, and along they way, they have to solve a riddle at the troll bridge by matching poodles with geometric shaped haircuts. They also help Senora Gigante get some birds out of her hair, and sing a few fun songs.

Happy Birthday, Super Babies: Its the Twins first birthday and Abuella is making some tasty birthday cakes. As they are waiting for the cakes to bake, Dora tells them a story about a cake snatching bear who stole everyone's birthday cakes. This was a job for Super Babies who ride with Tico through the Pinata Forest, and get the cakes back from the bear's castle.

Baby Windy Goes Home: Dora & Boots find a lovable space creature named Winky who was trying to visit his family, but got lost. Winky has to find his family before the space ship takes off.

Dora's Pegaso Adventure: Dora and Boots are playing hide and seek with their friend Little Star and some animal constellations when a meteor shower scares all the animals away.If the constellations don't come back before the sun comes up, they'll never get home!

If you have any Dora fans in your household, this DVD is a must have.   If you want a copy for yourself, it will be available in stores nationwide including Target and Walmart and online starting 5/3 /11 for the great low price of $16.99.

A very educational cartoon for children. This barbershop has been cutting their child's hair for more than a year, although the first time there was a little bad mood during the haircut.
