I have always been a sucker for a historical film. Make it a mini series and I know I am going to be hooked. That is exactly what happened with me and Napoleon & Love. Once I started watching this additive series, I couldn't stop until I had watched all nine episodes back to back. The combination of a powerful story line filled with historical facts and stunning costume design left me glued to my seat.
We have all learned the basics about Napoleon, the man who single handedly conquered almost the whole of Europe. You may have even heard of Napoleon and his one great love, Josephine. But Josephine was only one notch on a very impressive belt when it comes to Napoleon's love life. There was also Desiree, Pauline, Georgina, Eleanore, Marie Louise and more.
