One of the things I always like to include in my kids' Easter Basket is a book. While there are hundreds of books out there to choose from, this year I went with a unique book and CD combo called "Money Mama & The Three Little Pigs" by Lori Mackey. This book is available through the Prosperity for Kids Website for the low price of $15.95. The book is beautifully illustrated and fun to read, but it is more than just an entertaining story. The adorable book teaches kids all about saving their money and how they should use it. It breaks it down into a 10/10/10/70 ratio where 70% of their money goes to expenses, 10% goes to savings, 10% gets invested, and 10% goes to charity. It especially nice to see how it teaches children that they can do things like help the homeless or work to benefit the environment. It makes them feel that even a child can make a difference and that is important.
For older children, Prosperity 4 Kids also has an Allowance Chart. This interactive book really teaches the kids the value of a dollar and helps show them how to make their finances grow. It encourages them to save money towards a special goal, like a new bike. It also helps parents keep track of chores and the money kids have earned. Its a great way to encourage them to save money, and also enhances their math skills.
These are only a few examples of the money saving tools you can find for your children at Prosperity 4 Kids. They also have piggy banks, book sets and more. To learn more about this great company and all they have to offer, you can visit their website. While you're there, be sure to sign up for their newsletter to keep up with future promotions. You can also become their fan on face book. If you want to give a gift with some real value this Easter, check out Prosperity 4 Kids today.
