Introducing Willow Rose DeLuca!

Willow Rose DeLuca arrived on Friday, January 28th at 11: 54pm weighing in at 7 pounds 4 oz. It was  a super quick delivery. The nurse that was assigned to me didn't believe I was in real labor when we got there because the contractions weren't that bad yet, but I told her my other kids came quick. I went from 3 to 10 centimeters dilated in about 2 minutes and the baby had crowned before they had a doctor in the room. Two pushes and she was out. They didn't have enough time to hook me up to an IV before she was there.    Even though she was early, she is perfectly healthy. We had to drive home yesterday in a blizzard but  made it safely through that too. We even had an easy night last night. She woke up twice to eat but slept through other than that. Such a good baby. Oh, and she had this to say to the mean nurse who thought her mama was a crazy drama queen.  LOL

False Alarm-No Baby Yet

Well, after a very long night of being poked and prodded in every possible way, the doctor decided not to induce me yet after all. They got my blood pressure to come down and even my blood work looked better than it had a few days ago. They still want to induce me, but they want to wait until Monday when I'll be a full 38 weeks. So in the meantime, I can draw a few more winners a get a few more reviews done. Unless of course, nature takes over and I go into labor on my own.

New Age Mama is About to be a Mama again!

Well, its looks like its finally time for my new little girl to arrive. Due to some complications I am on my way to the hospital to be induced. Of course, there's always a chance it won't work, but hopefully by this time tomorrow my  little Willow will be here and be healthy. Please keep us in your thoughts as she is coming a little early.  Once we are home and situated I will get back to blogging and pull any winners and post some new review/giveaways.

Chocomize Review & Giveaway

It never occured to me that I could order a customized chocolate bar, made exactly the way I wanted it. That I could add expresso beans or hazel  nuts, include pretty designs, or even herbs and spices.  But that is exactly what Chocomize  offers. They have created a website where you can custom order your chocolate bars, made with only the finest ingredients including delicious Belgian Chocolate.

For my review, I was able to create two bars of my own. My husband and I each made one and just that part is fun. You get to pick through all the different kinds of ingredients and can choose up to five. The system is very user friendly and you won't have to be an internet wiz to figure it out. My husband choose white chocolate with peanuts, ground  expresso and sugar rose petals. My candy bar was dark chocolate with pretzels, expresso beans, hazelnuts, and the chocolate butterfly. You can see the final results in the picure on the right. They looked almost too good to eat. But we did anyway, and OMG!!! Even my husband, who is a chef that doesn't give compliments easily on anything edible said it was the best chocolate bar he ever tasted.

With hand made customized candy like you can find at Chocomize, you'll never want to eat any other kind of chocolate again. But if you don't want to design your own, there are some favorites that the company has availble to order.  You can also join their Chocolate of the Month club and get 25% off! Not sure what kind of candy your friends would like? Get them a gift certificate so they can have the fun of creating their own bar.

Speaking of gift certifcates, the great folks over at Chocomize have been generous enough to offer one of my readers a $25 gift certificate to their site.  To enter, please visit their website and tell me which kind of chocolate  you would choose along with at least one topping.  For extra entries you can do any of the following but your must complete this initial entry first.  Any entries that do not follow these guidelines will be deleted.

Cook in the Kitchen Review & Giveaway

Chef in the Kitchen is an online shop that offers healthy, gourmet style foods for great low prices. Not only do they have a wide variety of fun and exciting varieties, but their products are all very easy to make. And trust me, I don't cook. That's why a married a chef. I actually married two. But the instructions for the Cook in the Kitchen products are so simple even someone like me who burns water can handle it.

I received two items for my review. The first was the Maple Walnut Scone & Muffin Mix.  It was very simple to make. You just add water, pour it into the muffin cups, and bake.  They were very tasty. Perfect for the morning because they weren't overwhelmingly sweet. The walnuts add a nice crunch to a soft treat. I would defintely want to get the mix again and maybe try making the scones this time.

The second item I received was the Gluten Free Welsh Potato Soup Mix. This was even easier to make than the muffins. Just boil the water, mix, and stir.  And it was surprisingly good for instant soup, especially considering its gluten free. It had lots of flavor and was thick and creamy. The one package was enough for both me and my husband and it really filled us up.

These are only two examples of the healthy, gluten free, and natural products that are available at Cook in the Kitchen. They also offer coffees, waffle mixes, and syrups just to name a few.  If you want to try a nice variety, check out their gift sets.  Or if you want to get fancy with your products, take a peak at their recipes for lots of interesting ideas.  If you prefer to shop offline, you can also request a catalog.

I'm sure you're dying to try these great products out for yourself. Well, one lucky winner is going to get both the products I tried out, as well as one additional product of their choice. To enter, you must vistit Cook in the Kitchen and request their catalog. For additional entries you can do any of the following, but you must complete this initial entry first. Baby Bonanza! Weil Baby Products Review

Most people have seen or heard of Dr. Weil, the trusted health advisor with the big smile and the big white beard. He has spent years practicing and teaching others intergrative medicine. Now he has come up with a great new line of ultra-safe and easy to use baby prodcuts which you can view online at Weil Baby.

I received three products to check out for my review. The first is the 4 oz glass nurser bottle. This bottle is specially designed to help reduce colic. It comes with a standard stage one nipple that's perfect for newborns. It is very easy to grib and very sturdy. Its large base will make it easy to clean. Defintely one of the nicer bottles I've seen on the market.

The second item I received is the Tritan Training Cup in orange and purple. This is an adorable cup that is also fuctional. I love that it still has a soft tip because my older kids always chewed too hard on their sippy cups and I was always afraid they would hurt their new teeth. This cup is a great starter for when your baby is ready to start drinking on their own.

Lastly, I received a set of pink ortho pacificers. Dr. Weil designed these with no toxins, and they are specially made so that they will not hinder tooth development.  I also love that they are one solid piece. I remember when my son was a baby he once bit the nipple off one of his pacificers. Luckily both pieces were on the floor when I went to get him in the morning, but I still almost had a heart attack thinking that he might have choked.  I won't have to worry about that with these great pacificers.

These are only a few of the great items currently available at  Weil Baby. They have a great line of bottles, brushes, cups and more. They are even in the process of working on a line of breast pumps, something I would love to be one of the first to try out. In addition to their website, you can also find Weil Baby products at Babies R Us.  Click here for a coupon for $5 off Weil Baby Products. This is good at Babies R Us and the Weil Baby website. To keep up with the lastest products as well as sales and giveaways, sign up the their newsletter.  This a great new company that offers quality feeding products that are insuring your child's health and safety and they are defintely worth checking out.

Bee Well Wishes Review & Giveaway

Being sick is never fun. Even when you're going to the hospital for the happy occasion of having a baby like I am, you know its not going to be easy.  Bee Well Wishes is an amazing company that turned a difficult time into something profitable that also gives people a great gift idea to help raise the spirits of someone they know who is ill.

Tina and Martin Chadwick are the founders of Bee Well Wishes. When Tina was pregnant she learned she had a brain tumor. After a successful delivery she had brain surgery and months of recooperation.  They received lots of flowers and food from well wishers. But if was more than they could eat and Martin was allergic to flowers. So they came up with this great idea of sending an adorable Bee Well Wishes Gift Box to friends or family who are under the weather. You can choose from cute items like blankets, pillows, cozy pants, or sleep shirts, and send it with a personalized card.   This is a great idea and so much more useful than flowers when someone is sick. I think its a great idea and an inspiring story.

For my review, I was sent one of their adorable onesies. I love the little bee on the front.  It will be cute to wear even after the baby and I are home from the hospital. Made with 100% cotton it is definitely nice and cozy, and I have to note that it smells no nice! The items come with that fresh out of the dryer scent on them so if sometime gets it in the hospital, its all ready to wear and that clean scent is just so comforting.

One lucky winner is going to receive the same onesie that I was given to review. To enter, please visit Bee Well Wishes and tell me an item you like or something that you learned. For additional entries, you can do any of the following but your must complete this initial entry first.  Any entries that do not folllow these guidelines will be deleted.

Chocobouquet Review-Great Idea For Valentine's Day

Can't  decide whether you want flowers or candy for Valentine's Day?  Why not have both in one great package? That is exactly what you'll get at  Chocobouquet.  They have the adorable chocolate bouquets that are sure to please your sweetheart and their sweet tooth. They are suitable for men or woman, friends or lovers and come in a wide range of prices that will fit any budget.
For my review, I received the  Red Love Vase.  It was securely packaged in an adorable white box with a red bow that kept the contents safe and secure. It looked so pretty  when I took it out of box I hated to open it up to eat the candy. The photo doesn't really do it justice. But of course my kids, and my husband had to try out the chocolate. The creamy milk chocoalte was definitely top grade and worth every penny. This is a gift anyone would be happy to get for Valentine's Day. I also think it would be great to have your kids bring one of the larger bouquets into school to give out the flowers to their classmates at their Valentine's Day Party. It would be a unique and special treat.

Chocobouquet has been generous enough to offer my readers 10% off their already low prices in honor of Valentine's Day. Just use the code chocva10 at check out.  You can check out all the Valentine's Day bouquets right here.

In addition to their Valentine's Line, Chocobouquet also has adorable arrangementse for every other occasion. They would make a great gift on birthdays, a baby shower, or just something to brighten sometimes day. Their site is very user friendly and they offer paypal as a payment option, which is always a plus.  To keep up with the latest news, follow them on twitter or become their fan on face book.

Baby Bonanza! The Tots Review & Giveaway

I love handmade products.  When I had my first child, I got lots of beautiful handmade afghans from my grandmother and some of her friends. Sadly, most of them have passed on now so the only way I can get handmade gifts for my new daughter is by searching for them online. The Tots is a great company that was started by a stay at home mom and offers adorable handmade products as well as some items from trusted reail markets.

For my review, I received a pair of these adorable booties. I mean really, aren't they just the cutest things in the world? I will have to do a whole new post when my baby is born just to show her off wearing them.  There are extremely high quality, well made booties. I have no doubt that 20-30 years from now I'll be able to take these back out and give them to my daughter when she's ready to have a baby of her own and they will still be in mint condition. Besides being precious, they are also practical and warm for the cold winter season.  These are really the perfect gift for any mom-to-be.

Booties are only the beginning of the amazing line of products for babies and toddlers you will find at The Tots. They also have unique headbands, beautiful diaper cakes (these are great for showers), personalized t-shirts, and even some cds to name just a few things.  Their prices are very reasonable for the quality of merchandise you are getting. Plus they offer free shipping on all orders over $75.  If you're having a baby or you know someone who is, check out The Tots for a gift that everyone will be talking about.

Good Clean Love Review & Valentine's Day Giveaway

I like everything else I buy to be organic. Why not my massage oils and other bedroom goodies? Good Clean Love offers a great selection of natural products to spice up your love life, as well as games, candles, toys, and more. If you want to make this Valentine's Day one to remember, then Good Clean Love should be one of your first stops.

For review, I received the Almost Naked personal lubricant and the Caribbean Rose All Natural Love Oil.  Since I'm 8 months pregnant I didn't get as much use out of the personal lubricant as I would have liked-LOL, but I did check it out and its defintely not as greasy or sticky as some other brands. It comes out smooth and should work well when the doctor gives me the green light to really try it out.  The oil I was able do a better test with. I practice Reiki which is a form of spiritual healing. I like to mix a little homeopathic massage in with the Reiki and this oil was perfect for that. It rubs in smoothly but lasts for a long time. The scent is not overpowering but very uplighting. My husband defintely enjoyed it.

If you're interested in trying Good Clean Love Products but aren't sure they will be right for you, you can order samples for only $2.00. Enter their  contest to win a Cupid's Travel Set. C Belly Belts Review & Giveaway

My son has a problem. He has no butt. Because of this, I have trouble finding him pants that fit right. They are either too short and show his ankles or his backside is hanging out. I don't like either one of those scenarios.  If you have a child with a similiar problem, then C Belly Belts is the perfect solution.

My son loved these groovy belts. We received the black skulls and the camo. I loved that his pants actually stayed up.  I always have a hard time finding belts in his size at all, but these belts are special. They are made with velcro that attaches on the sides. They are stretchy which allows your child  to easily pull their pants up and down themselves. I had a situation with my daughter when she was younger where she had on a fancy belt on and couldn't get it undone at school causing her to have an accident. You'll never have that problem with C Belly Belts. They are fashionable and sensible.

You can get your own C Belly Belt for only $12.99 or check out their value product offering where you can choose two belts for $19.99. This is a great deal and cheaper than department store prices. They have a wide selection for both girls and boys that will go with any wardrobe. Their website is easy to navigate and their shipping prices are fair.  They also offer free shipping on orders over $30. This is a great company to check out if you have a little one who tends to lose their britches.

One lucky reader is going to get to try out C Belly Belts for themselves. One reader will get to choose two belts in the style and size of their choice. To enter, please visti C Belly Belts and tell me which one is your favorite. For additional entries you can do any of the following, but you must complete this initial entry first.
