Holiday Gift Guide - Moka Express Review

When I was a little girl, my mother and I lived with my grandparents. They were pretty old fashioned and I was well into my teenage years before I ever saw modern coffee maker. They had one of those old percolators that you had to use to make coffee on the stove top. This caused me to end of embarrassment when I had friends over as a kid, as did the burnt orange refrigerator, shag carpet, and rotary phone. But in later years, I came to appreciate the difference in taste that came from that old coffee pot. It was as good as anything from a fancy coffee house. The modern coffee makers can't touch that classic flavor. It was something I thought I'd never experience again outside of a coffee house. But now, thanks to the Moka Express from Bailetti, I have found coffee heaven.

The Moka Express is the world's number one coffee maker. I wondered why I hadn't heard of it before. But than I remembered that the world is a much bigger place than the United States. Here in the US,  we think more about convenience. In Europe, where the Moka Express is made, taste comes first. But hopefully we will start catching on, because the Moka Express makes one amazing cup of coffee!  And we are talking real Italian style coffee.

Using the Moka is simple. You just fill the bottom part with cold water (this can range from 1 cup to 12 depending on which size you're using). Insert the funnel shaped filter, fill it with coffee, then screw on the top. You than place the pot on the stove stop until the top is filled with coffee. The result will be the best cup of coffee you have ever had!

If you are a coffee lover or know someone who is, the Moka Express is a must have. It will really impress your guests at holiday celebrations and would also make a great gift.  With prices starting as low as $19.95 for the one cup coffee maker, its also an affordable gift. Check out the Bialetti website to get yours today and while  you're there be sure to check out all the other amazing, European style products they have available as well.  Your holiday shopping won't be complete with a visit to Bialetti.
