Softie Cafe Review & Giveaway

There something about a toy that was made by hand that just makes it so much nicer than something bought in stores. When it comes to handmade items, I always turn to Etsy for the biggest and best selection of unique, one of a kind items. While I was doing some early holiday shopping, I came across an adorable little shop called the Softie Cafe. They make some of the cutest little  handmade felt toys for for babies and children that I just fell in love with.

For our review, we were sent one of their Crinkle Owls. These little guys are a wonderful toy for babies. They are a combination of a toy and a mini security blanket. The bright colors will get your baby's attention, and all the decorative pieces  are sown on securely. So there is no worry about choking hazards. Willow just loves the crinkle sound it makes when she plays with it. She waves it in the air and squeezes it in her hands. I was amazed at how long this little toy held her attention. For only $8, they are a great gift for anyone with a baby or as a shower gift for a mom-to-be.

In addition to the Crinkle Owls, Softie  Cafe also makes some of the cutest felt food toys I have ever seen. My favorite is the Green Eggs and Ham, but there are so many other cute choices to pick from like cookies, pizza, hot dogs, fruits and more. They are a less expensive choice than the plastic play foods and a more unique option. Kids will love playing house and bake shop with these adorable toys.
