Journal Buddies Review and Giveaway

I have always loved writing. I was keeping a journal and writing stories since I was in second grade. My children are following in my footsteps. Especially my oldest daughter who loves to write ghost stories. I have gotten them journals many times, but recently I discovered something a little differnt---Journal Buddies.

Journal Buddies are more than just a book filled with blank pages. That can be a little overwhelming for children because they might not know how to start. Journal Buddies has plenty of room for recording special moments, but it also provides fun activities and tips on what to write about, But most importantly, it reaches kids respect of others as well as self esteem, both important elements for any healthy lifestyle.

My children each received a book and they are really enjoying exploring their creativity. These books are a great way to encourage kids to enjoy writing and will help with reading. Because its fun and exciting, it doesn't feel like work.  Journals are available for both boys and girls.

The wonderful author of Journal Buddies is offering one of my readers the chance to win one of her books for either a boy or a girl. She will even personalize it for them. To enter, visit Journal Buddies and tell me something you learned. For additional entries you can follow them on twitter or become their fan on face book. This giveaway is open to the US only and will end on 10/1/10.

Journal Buddies is all about helping your child become more aware of the characteristics you value in her or in him.

(by the way, the creator of these went to my Alma Mater and we studied the same subjects!)
