Fish Stix Game from Peaceable Kingdom Press Review & Giveaway

We try to have family game night every night. Of course there are some days that time gets away from us. But for the most part, we like to spend an hour or so together after dinner playing a game. Its nice to turn of the TV and video games for a little while and spend some quality time together. I especially like to play thought provoking games that challenge my children and keep their minds sharp. At Peaceable Kingdom Press, we found the perfect game to play together. Its called Fish Stix.

Fish Stix is an exciting board game that has won both a Parents Choice Award and was one of Best 10 in the Dr. Toys list in 2009. Its a strategy game where you have to match images of the fish.  There are pictures of four different fish  on each of the sticks in different orders. You have to lay the sticks out and get two or more in a row. How ever many you match up, you get to move the coordinating token that many places. Whoever gets all six fish tokens to the finish line first wins. My kids loved this game and it really got them thinking.   They thought it was great that our whole table was filled with cards
