Summer Birthday Bash! NERF DART TAG CAPTURE THE FLAG SET Review

I love toys that encourage my kids to get up off the couch and excercise. The Nerf Dart Tag Capture the Flag set offers exciting outdoor advetnures that your kids can enjoy all summer long.  Whether they want to race and see who can disarm the flag or just use their blasters for target practice, your kids will have hours of fun.
The set comes complete with two redesigned scoring vests, two stormfire blasters, six darts, and a new Electronic Flag. The flag has three built in game modes for lots of variety.

My kids loved playing tag with their dart set.  They thought it was really cool how the darts stick to the vest so they could keep track of how many shots they made. And I loved the glasses that came with them. Because it didn't take long for one the darts to hit the them in the eye, but the glasses protected this sensitive area. The darts themselves or just made with foam with a little velcro on the end so you don't have to worry about any serious injuries. The only problem we have had so far is that my kids have already lost a few of their darts. But its not a major problem as refills are available.

Now, I don't want to start any contraversy because I know its a sensitive subject, but I feel its neccessary to bring this up when I'm reviewing this type of toy. I know many people think we shouldn't let our  children play with "gun-like" toys because they can be associated with violence. But I think that this toy is fine is you teach your kids the right morals. I am far from a gun advocate and would never have one in my home. But some of the bravest and most role model worthy people in our country do carry guns. If one of my children decides to be a police officer or a member of our armed forced, I would be very proud. When they play with their Nerf Storm Blasters, they pretend they are doing this type of work. And I have no problem with that. But this is just my personal opinion and of course everyone is entitled to their own.

The Nerf Dart Tag Capture the Flag Set ia available at most major toy retailers nationwide and on HasbroToyShop.com. The flag does require two batterie. But as a side note, you can play without it if you are short on batteries.  This set is a lot of outdoor fun and would make a great gift for anyone with a summer birthday!
