Summer Birthday Bash! Fortamajig Review & Discount Code

Is there any kid out there who doesn't like to make a fort? Or camp out in the back yard?  This is the kind of imaginative play I encourage. I love to see my kids get off the couch and put down the video games. But I can't set up a tent to save my life. If you have the same problem, then you should defintely check out the Fortamajig from The Happy Kid Company.  With the Fortamajig, its simple to give your kids an indoor or outdoor fort of their very own.

When we got our Fortamajig, I let my kids have a camp out in the living room. It was simple to set it up because you can just lay it across a few chairs or if you want to get more creative you can use the straps to create more intricate things like teepees, canopys, or tunnels. Its is large enough that it fits not only my two kids but also our Golden Retriever. The three of them had a great time camping out for the night. Clean up is simple too because it folds up smaller than a blanket and can be stored just about anywhere. Plus there are no small pieces to lose and its washable.

If you know someone who would love to own the Fortimajig, now would be the perfect time to get one.  New Age Mama readers are being offered an exclusive discount in honor of the Summer Birthday Bash.  Just enter the code newagemama at check out and you will receive 10% off as well as free shipping! This offer is valid through 7/6/10.  To learn more about this fantastc company and the products they offer, check out their website or their face book page. The Fortimajig is the perfect gift for hours of summer fun.

One of the sad things going on with several of the families right now is serious health issues. The mother of 3 of the chidren here at La Casa is in the last stages of terminal cancer. The children had the opportunity to go to visit their family last week but they have a long road ahead of them as they prepare and then grieve. And we need to figure out how to best walk with them through this journey.
