Every moment you spend with your family is a moment to remember. Today, my husband and I took our baby for her first trip the local zoo. She might be too little to appreciate it, but we saw a baby monkey cuddling with his mama and it was just the sweetest thing. It was defintely a Monday Moment to remember.

Holding my baby girl (who is 5 months) in my arms while she is sleeping, hearing the four older kiddos in the other room laughing over amovie!!
They grow way too fast!!
Grabbing coffee (yay Starbucks) with a friend and catching up after several months, sharing our accomplishments, disappointments, hopes and anxiety about the future. It's always great chatting with those to whom you can relate and in whom you can confide.

My moment today was sitting for 10 minutes in the sun with two squares of Lindt chocolate and a hot cup of tea. A nice peaceful break in a busy day!

My 17 mo old had slept in bed w/ me. In the morning, I opened my eyes to his face inches from mine. He was looking at me with this huge smile waiting for me to wake, Then, he kissed me on the forehead and put his head on my chest. What a way to wake!
My Monday Moment was sipping a latte by the window while watching the rain fall, but feeling warm and snuggly while I gave my kitty a belly rub :)

We took a grandson on a 3-day trip to a couple of museums. Today we were driving home and stopped a little cafe in a town off the highway. The nicest older lady came out to tell us all about the lunches. She took our order and then I started looking round the cafe. I realized that the place was filled with things that were like what I remember from my grandma's house...and everything was for sale. I found a bunch of trays of jewelry. It was like picking through grandma's jewelry box and everything was $2.50. I came out of there with some fun new things and had a nice visit with the grandma that owned the cafe :)
Sitting down with a hot cup of tea after a long stressful day at work. I felt better within 5 minutes and realized I could put things back into perspective.

Monday I had to walk around running errands and I looked around and realized all the dogwood blossoms were out, it was so pretty and nice to see that Spring finally arrived. I took my time walking and enjoying the sun, carawling(at)hotmail(Dot)com
My daughter is home from college for spring break. On Monday, after everyone left for work/school, I made us a nice breakfast. The two of us sat, ate and chatted. I sure do miss her when she's not here.
Thanks!

My Monday Moment was having my middle son home from school with a flu bug and getting to cook him breakfast for 2 and getting some time to hear about all that is going on with him and all his opinions of his school, friends and teachers and what every one is doing and what he is learning. With a hectic household I rarely have enough spare time for one on one. It's was a golden moment!

Spring is a time that I spend a lot of time outside in my gardens. Yesterday I worked on shearing all of my ornamental grasses for the spring. Its so relaxing to be in nature and sometimes a little hard work really makes you sleep like a baby.

Well, today is Monday, so I will pock a special moment that happened today.
I played matching games with my daughter. She is 19 months and it was amazing to watch her so eager to learn and soak everything up. She's such a little sponge :)

After a tough day (lots of bad financial luck, a death in the family, and general crappiness...) my husband surprised me by making a plate of delicious Cinnamon Toast! I'm not sure what was better---eating it or spending that special time with him :) Anyway, I needed that :)
My Monday Moment was spending time with my 15 year old daughter today. She is on spring break this week, so we spent part of the day at the mall and had lunch. So much fun shopping with her! Thanks!
