Phyllis Harris - Kid Wall Art Review & #Giveaway

Moms love our wall art because it evokes feelings of nostalgia and helps to preserve memories of childhood and the innocence of youth. Each art print is printed in the USA on quality fine art archival paper with archival inks and ships flat in a bend resistant mailer and a cellophane sleeve.

As the illustrator of over 30 children’s books, I started Phyllis Harris Designs to not only brighten up kids’ rooms with whimsical and heartwarming wall art, but to also make a difference – for each art print we sell, we give 5% to Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics to help in their fight to save children battling serious illnesses.

I have had a passion for illustration from the time I could hold a crayon. Having my own daughter in 1986 and reading her countless picture books helped me discover my calling – creating art for children!

You can view some of our kids’ wall art at www.phyllisharrisdesigns.com. Each piece retails for $25 - $40 and we also offer an option for customization.

Our Thoughts

I fell in love with Phyllis Harris' designs the second I visited her website. They are so whimsical and fun loving. You can just feel the joy of the piece radiate off the paper. In my opinion it just makes a room or a nursery feel that much more homey. The great thing is that if there is something that you like but the child has the wrong hair color or another issue, you can work with Phyllis to make a custom piece! How many artists do you know of who will work with you on a custom piece?

Having a little girl of my own now, I am more than ever wanting her to connect with our horses like I do. Every little girl loves the idea of a horse and just about every little girl will ask for a horse at some point in her life. Because of the connection with horses, I asked for "The Love of a Girl and Her Horse". I could not be more pleased with the work of Phyllis and I'm sure Mackenzie is going to be enjoying her wall art for a long time to come!

Here is a photo of the art in a frame I purchased! Remember, you can also connect with Phyllis on Facebook, Twitter and Etsy along with her website
