We received a copy of Zumba Fitness World Party for WiiU to review at just the right time. I am determined to stick diet with my diet through the holiday season and exercise is an important part of the equation. With four kids, its not easy for me to get to the gym, so most of my exercise is done at home. This game helps give me the direction I need. I have also always wanted to try Zumba but I don't think I would have had the courage to do it in public. With this game, you can follow virtual instructors and work at your own pace. I am the most uncoordinated person alive, but I can still follow along with the simple instructions, and I'm getting more advanced each day. The game even tracks how many calories you burn. My two older children love it too, and its been a great way for us to bond and get in shape at the same time.
Zumba Fitness World Party includes forty different routines and thirty different types of dances-styles. Because this one is geared to world music and travel, the dances and more exotic then some of the previous editions. I love doing a Zumba belly dance and the Hawaiian Hulu. It gives kids a taste of different cultures while they're having fun. The celebrity instructors take you through the dance moves step by step. Since you can play with up to four people, the whole family can get in on the action. You can progress at your own pace with their expanded tutorials.
World Party includes hits from artists like Lady Gaga, Marc Anthony, Zedd and many more. The game even comes with a Zumba Fitness belt where you can store your controller while you dance, and still get an accurate reading. The hands free action makes you forget it's a video game at all. This game is a great way to get yourself up and moving while you're stuck inside for the winter. I have been using it for about two weeks and I've already noticed a tightening in my abs so its definitely a great work out and a lot of fun.
