 My Thoughts

I am a spur of the moment kind of girl. When I step outside in the morning, and its a nice day, I'll just decide to go somewhere--whether its the park, the beach, or a nature trail. But when you make last minute decisions, you might not have time to pack lunches for everyone. That's where Go Picnic comes in.  They make meals on-the-go easy with their convenient prepackaged meals. Not only are they perfect for a fast-paced lifestyle, they're also a convenient way to get school lunches taken care of.

My family received a few of the different meals to try out. Each of my older kids picked one of the Go Picnic meals to take with them to school. I was pleasantly surprised to find they contained pretty healthy options for processed food, but they were also tasty treats my kids were excited to eat.  My daughter picked the Turkey and Pepperoni Cheese. This one had  turkey pepperoni and tasty asiago cheese for the main course served on top of multi-cheese crackers. The serving of fruit comes in the form of a yummy Baha Blend trail mix with almonds, mangoes and cranberries. Finally, desert was a sea salt caramel lollipop whose sweet and salty combo had my daughter raving.

My son is a huge sunflower fan, so he wanted to try the Sunbutter and Crackers meal. I wasn't sure how it would go over, but he loved the creamy spread on his multi-grain crackers. The tropical fruit peel apart and the Mountain Mambo seed and fruit mix was awesome too. He enjoyed both and it was like getting two fruits for the price of one. Finally, it came along with a delicious double crunchy chocolate cookie that he gobbled up in seconds. My kids ate every bite of their meals and thought they were an exciting and fun alternative to regular sandwiches. As if all that fun food wasn't enough, each meal also  comes with convenient disposable utensils and  a wipe for your hands when your done. Go Picnic gives you everything you need in one box.
