My Thoughts
I've been struggling for a year to get my three year old to use the potty. The closer she gets to four, the more I start to panic. What if she's not trained in time for school next year? I expected to have trouble with her little brother, but my older daughter was completely trained by 16 months. I never thought her little sister to be a problem. But all kids all different and Willow was terrified of the potty. Then a few days ago, we received our weePod Basix, and all that changed.
As soon as the package arrived with our weePod, my daughter was excited. When we opened it, she saw the seat as a was a little leery but also sort of impressed by the cushion and shiny material. She liked the bright blue color and how soft the seat was in comparison to other potty seats we've tried. I was openly amazed when she actually asked to try the new seat without any bribing or persuading. Once in place, she liked it even more and now I am relieved to say, we are finally on our way to potty training.
There are several things about the weePod Basix that make it unique. The first is, of course, the smooth padding. It gives some much needed cushioning, making it much for comfortable since often little ones will sit for a while during the learning process. It also provides a splash guard to prevent any messes and suction cups on the bottom that hold it firmly in place so it doesn't slide around on the toilet. The combination makes for a great potty experience. The weePod is available in
several trendy colors including pink, blue and gray. Despite the
cushioning, the material is very sturdy and should hold up well after
potty training days are over. The best part for me is that since it attaches to the toilet, there are no yucky bowls to clean out once the deed in done. Because really, that is worse than changing a diaper sometimes. All in all, this potty seat is a gold mine. I would recommend it to the parents of any stubborn toddler.
