Snyder of Berlin®, a leading snack company which produces chips, cheese snacks, popcorn, and more, is celebrating its 65^th year of satisfying consumers with their superior line of tasty snacks.  In honor of the anniversary, Snyder of Berlin is announcing their “Snyder SnackShots” online photo contest.

From May 15, 2012 until December 31, 2012, snack lovers everywhere are asked to submit a photo of themselves, alone, or with family and friends, showing how they enjoy snacks from Snyder of Berlin brands.  Pictures from picnics, lunch time, or family BBQ’s are all great occasions to take pleasure in Snyder of Berlin snacks, but use your creativity to win big! 

One grand prize winner will receive $1,000 in cash, a new camera valued at $150, and a year’s supply of Snyder of Berlin snacks. Three runners-up will each receive $500 cash, and a year’s supply of Snyder of Berlin snacks.  In addition to the grand prize winner and runner ups, there will be monthly winners who will automatically win a Snyder of Berlin Party Pack of Snacks, and become a contender to be a finalist or grand prize winner.  Only 1 entry per person, e-mail and/or household is allowed.  For more information and official rules please log onto www.snyderofberlin.com and click on the “Snyder SnackShots” contest banner.

“Pictures are a way to see the world through the eyes of another individual,” says Tim Dunning, Director of Sales at Snyder of Berlin.  “This contest will give us a view into our consumer’s lives, and explore their creativity while showing their love for Snyder’s products.  I can’t think of a better way to celebrate our 65^th anniversary by showing how much people enjoy Snyder’s snacks.”

Our Thoughts

 For our review, we received several of the tasty varieties to try out including the Original, Sour Cream and Onion, Hot & Spicy Jalapeno and BBQ. Each one was a delicious treat. All of the chips were extra crispy. The chips are thin, yet sturdier than average. Very few of them were broken inside the bag. After eating a small bag, I noticed there was no grease on my fingers. And they taste amazing! Each one has just the right about of flavoring. They are the perfect compliment to a sandwich and you definitely won't be able to stop with just one. We received a whole bunch of small bags and between my husband and my kids, they were gone in just a few days.  I was lucky to have gotten a taste at all.
