Summer Splash! Smooze Fruit Ice Review & Giveaway
When it starts to get hot, my kids love to have something cold to suck on. Those ice sticks have always been one of their favorite things. But they are loaded with sugar and artificial flavors and really aren't good for them. Recently I discovered a new kind of ice pop that is a healthier and tastier alternative. One that is made with only all natural fruit juices and fresh coconut milk. Smooze Fruit Ice are a like bringing a little piece of the tropics into your freezer. They are a fun and refreshing snack that kids and parents everywhere are going to love.
For my review, I received two boxes of Smooze Fruit Ice---the Coconut & Pink Guava and the Mango & Coconut. They are so good, I almost didn't want to share them with the kids! The tropical flavors are delicious, and they are a very refreshing frozen treat on a hot day. You just need to pop the box in the freezer for a day or so. Once they are frozen, you can push up the pops by squeezing the container. They are a little creamier than plain ice pops, but I really loved the texture. The kids loved them to, and the whole two boxes were gone in just a few days.
In addition to the two flavors I tried, Smooze also offers Passion Fruit & Coconut and Pineapple & Coconut varieties. All of the flavors are low in fat, dairy free, gluten free and have no cholesterol or preservatives. You can find Smooze in stores nationwide including Whole Foods and online at Amazon. Check their store locator to find a location near you. For more rave reviews on Smooze Fruit Ice, be sure to check out Rita's review over at One2Try. She loved them every bit as much as my family did.
In honor of the Summer Splash, one lucky winner is going to receive two boxes of Smooze Fruit Ice to try for themselves. To enter, just visit Smooze and tell me something your learned.
