Summer Birthday Bash! Ravensburger Labyrinth 25th Anniversary Edition Review & Giveaway

 My family has always loved the world of fantasy, whether is fairies, dragons, princesses or genies.  I have told my children the legend of the minotaur in the labyrinth, and "The Labyrinth" movie with David Bowie is one of our favorites. So of course we were excited to try out the 25th Anniversary Edition of the Labyrinth from Ravensburger. This is a game that has been enchanting children everywhere for a quarter of a century, and my family was no different.

In Labyrinth, you are racing through a moving maze to find a variety of treasures. You will encounter all kinds of creatures along the way like owls, genies, dragons, ghosts and more. You will also have to keep an eye out for your opponents who may be after the same treasures as you . You might be within arms reach of your prize, only to find your opponent has built a wall right in front of you. Because the maze is always different, the game will never be the same twice, making for endless fun and variety.

The 25th Anniversary Edition comes in a beautiful limited edition metal case, which is a great way to make sure no pieces get lost. Plus the course cards have been modified to include magical powers, making the game even more enchanting. My family loved playing this game together. It made family game night into something magical and mystical. It not only encourages interactive play and thought, but also imagination. Its a wonderful game for children ages eight and older.
