Sublime Stitching Review & Giveaway

 I'm not the most patient person in the world, and sewing has never been one of my talents. When clothes get holes or loose buttons, I give them to my mom. But my grandmother was a seamstress and I think my daughter inherited that talent from her. She is always talking about sewing and loves making things like dream pillows. Embroidery is something she has been wanting to try, but since I am clueless about things like that, I wasn't sure where to start.  Then I came across Sublime Stitching. They have dozens of adorable embroidery sets that are lots of fun and easy enough for my daughter to master.

For my review, I received a La Petite Embroidery Set. These sets are perfect for beginners and come with everything you'll need to get started including a hoop, needle, scissors, 4 colors of thread, and iron on transfers. My daughter picked out the Fairies and Gnomes set because we love fantasy characters. As soon as it got here she set to work. I showed her, with supervision of course, how to iron the designs onto a white shirt. She then spent the whole day doing her embroidery work. The result is the adorable onesie that Willow is wearing in the photo. This transfer was mushrooms which I thought was an easy one to start with. Next we are moving onto a fairy.




The Fairy and Gnomes Kit is only one of dozens of different choices of Petite Embroidery sets. Some of the others include zombies, weddings, holiday themes and more.
