Light Your Way with Star Light Lanterns from Lights.com - Review & #Giveaway

Lights.com is a new online destination for all things lighting. They have some really amazing products that will spruce up both your indoor and our door decor. Whether you're looking for lanterns or taper candles, Lights.com has items with all the ambiance of a flickering fire but none of the risks. You can find a safer, flame-less alternative to candles that will add a beautiful glow to your home without the worry of  fires or injuries to small children or pets.

There are dozens of beautiful items at Lights.com, but my personal favorite was the Star Light Lanterns.Though from the outside these look like any other lanterns, when you switch them on, you're in for a surprise. The light casts a glow that resembles a stream of shooting stars thanks to a string of LED lights encased inside the white lantern. Each set comes with two and they are available in several sizes.  I found the lanterns to be sturdy and well made.  The swinging door opens easily and there is a metal hoop on top to allow you to hang it up.

When I got the lanterns, I figured they would be more to enhance the atmosphere than to actually provide light, but the they are surprisingly bright and we use them on our porch without any other light. We even used them during a blackout after a thunderstorm. The pretty stars helped calm my little ones down and we had plenty of light to see. They operate using three AA batteries each (not included). I've been using mine regularly for about two weeks and the battery life is still going strong. They are a beautiful and affordable way to enhance any area of your home.
