My Thoughts

Dr. Owusu products are definitely a treat. I was lucky enough to get to try out a few of their haircare products and I am really happy with the results. The first item I tried is the Honey Oatmeal Shampoo. The aroma is just divine and I love the way my hair smells after using it, but that is only the beginning of the benefits. You only need a small amount and it will lather nicely and get hair nice and clean. My hair is naturally oily, but this shampoo keeps that issue under control, leaving my hair looking shiny and healthy without drying it out. Even without using conditioner, I was able to get a comb through my fine hair with no tangles.

I also tried the Revitalizing Hair Reconstructer. I did enjoy this product as well, but it does take awhile to use, so it's not a product I can use each night or at the start of a busy day. Its a leave in formula that you use in between shampoo and conditioner. With heat, it stays on ten minutes, without is twenty. Though finding an extra 20 minutes is hard for a working mom, the extra effort is definitely worth it because this formula really brings new life to dried out hair. I use hair dye to cover up those pesky grays and it was taking its toll, but even after just one use of the reconstructer I saw a big difference. My ends seemed a lot less damaged. I am going to make an effort to use it at least once a week. Its a great companion to a bubble bath.  Both products are a great addition to any beauty regimen and work with all hair types. I highly recommend these products to anyone whose hair needs a little boost.
