Santa’s ready to deliver his presents but the trip isn’t going as planned! With a failing navigation system and a huge snowstorm, Santa and his reindeer will have to pull together (and expertly avoid some really tall buildings!) to get the gifts delivered in time. It’s the perfect way to celebrate Santa’s journey as he travels from north to east and all over the globe to land at your house.

ABOUT THE CREATORS

Based in Scotland, Robert Dunn is a freelance illustrator of children’s books. Steve Smallman lives in the UK and is the author of numerous children’s books, including A Hug for Humphrey, The Lamb Who Came to Dinner, and Smelly Peter the Great Pea Eater. 

My Thoughts

 Books open up a whole new world of imagination.  Even now as an adult, I still get lost in the pages of a good book. I put myself in the place of the heroine, and imagine what it would be like to be her. When I read books to my children, I always see their eyes open with wonder. But imagine how much more amazing it would be if your child really was the hero in the story? Well, with Put Me In the Story that is exactly what happens. They make story telling that much more magical by adding in your child's name and photos.

We received the Santa is Coming to My House Book. Since my kids had shorter names, I  have able to include them both on the book and even choose a picture of them to put on the inside. The story is all about Santa coming to our house. Along the way he tackles blizzards and gets stuck in trees, but he never gives up on getting the gifts to those special kids. My children loved seeing their names and pictures inside the book as we read along. It made the story feel real to them, and I know they will be even more excited about Christmas this year as they wait for Santa's arrival.
