Robin of Sherwood Set 2 Blu-ray Coming February 14th!

I have always been fascinated by the tale of Robin Hood, the man who stole from the rich to give to the poor. I have seen dozens of versions from full length movies to animated features, but one of the best versions I've come across is the British series from the 80's, Robin of Sherwood. The series, which is now available on DVD and Blu Ray, takes you into the mystical land of Sherwood Forest, with Robin, Little John, and Maid Marion. There the spectacular cast will lead you on an adventure that will captivate and enchant you. Starting February 14th, Set 2 will now be available on DVD and Blu-ray at Acorn Online. Here is a little more about the series:

Gritty, realistic, laced with history, magic, and myth, this landmark series is the definitive modern take on the Robin Hood legend. Made in the 1980s for Britain’s ITV, shot on location in England, it features authentic period production design and an award-winning soundtrack by the Irish band Clannad. Each set is 13 episodes; CC; approx. 11 hours on 5 DVDs. Set 1 stars Michael Praed as Robin. In Set 2, Jason Connery takes the lead role. Seen on PBS and Showtime. Both sets loaded with extras.
