ReplyDeleteI actually started drinking all the water I steam veggies in. If it sounds gross, it's not. I just reheat it and add in a tea bag. It's pretty good, healthy and less wasteful.
ReplyDeleteWe also got a membership to the YMCA. It's been really nice to go swimming and playing in their family/open gym!

We are now *officially* doing two meatless dinners each week! I'm not a huge carnivore, but my hubby is, so this is a big change for him. We've replaced meat with more veggies! We are also taking family walks after dinner most nights, so everyone--even our dog!--is feeling better already! Here's to making 2012 our family's healthiest year yet!

We've all begun taking herbal supplements instead of chemical medicines to heal our bodies when ill. Recently I had a sinus infection and talked with a friend who makes her own herbs and has a degree in homeopathic medicines. She made me an usnea tincture, it worked wonders!!
