Naumes Fruit Gifts Review & Quickie Giveaway

Who doesn't love pears? They are so tasty and so good for you. They've always been one of my favorite fruits. But I find it difficult to find a good selection of fruits in the regular grocery store and this time of year and there are no road side fruit stands open in my area. Luckily, I discovered Naumes Fruit Gifts, an online store where you can order pears direct from the farm.

The first thing that impressed me when I received the pears is that they were so well packed. There were no bruises at all on this delicate fruit. Secondly, all the packing materials are biodegradable which is always important to New Age Mama.  And the pears themselves---Wow! They were sweet and juicy and at the peek of ripeness. In all honestly, they are the best pears I have every tasted.

As if great tasting fruit isn't enough of  a reason to visit Naumes, they also have a wonderful program to benefit those in need. They donate fruit to the hungry. For every fruit gift purchased, they match it with a donation, pound for pound. This small town family business has been doing this for generations. If you are in the market for a gift this spring, consider a nice fruit basket from Naumes. With free shipping available, and reasonable prices, its a great alternative to candy.  But hurry because pear season will be coming to an end soon and orders need to be in by 4/4/10.

How would you like to win a pear basket of your own? To enter, please visit Naumes Fruit Gifts and tell me something you learned. For additional entries you can do any of the following, but you must complete this initial entry first. Any entries that do not follow these guidelines will be deleted.
