Who doesn't love pears? They are so tasty and so good for you. They've always been one of my favorite fruits. But I find it difficult to find a good selection of fruits in the regular grocery store and this time of year and there are no road side fruit stands open in my area. Luckily, I discovered Naumes Fruit Gifts, an online store where you can order pears direct from the farm.
As if great tasting fruit isn't enough of a reason to visit Naumes, they also have a wonderful program to benefit those in need. They donate fruit to the hungry. For every fruit gift purchased, they match it with a donation, pound for pound. This small town family business has been doing this for generations. If you are in the market for a gift this spring, consider a nice fruit basket from Naumes. With free shipping available, and reasonable prices, its a great alternative to candy. But hurry because pear season will be coming to an end soon and orders need to be in by 4/4/10.1)Subscribe to my blog by email
