Mother's Day Gift Guide - Elaine's Toffee Review & #Giveaway

I got to try a few bags of Elaine's Toffee and it was beyond amazing! I sampled both the dark chocolate and the milk chocolate varieties.  In between the layers of rich chocolate is a delicious buttery almond toffee. It has perfect crunch to it, not too hard, not too soft, but just right.

They top off the chocolate with a layer of  chopped almonds. This trinity of toffee, almonds, and chocolate is an absolute delight to your taste buds. The dark chocolate variety are perfect squares of temptation while the milk chocolate pieces are a little larger and come in various shapes. Both these divine treats would make a wonderful gift for  moms or anyone else with a sweet tooth.

In addition to the chocolate covered toffee, I also tested the toffee sauce. I've never tried anything like this before, but it's a great way to create an ice-cream Sunday worth bragging about. Simply heat the container in your microwave for around thirty seconds and spoon it over the ice cream. It turns even the plainest ice cream into a gourmet treat. A little goes a long way, so one container should last for quite awhile.
