Easter Gift Guide - Furby Boom Review & #Giveaway

The all new Furby Boom has a mind of its own and combines physical and digital ways to play! Interact with your Furby Boom 1-on-1 to shape it’s personality. Only with Furby Boom can you hatch and raise digital Furby Furblings.

Furby Boom has more than twice as many responses as the previous Furby, remembers the name you give it, has 5 new personalities to discover and, on top of all that, it’s hatching a new generation!

Where to Buy

Furby Books are available now in stores nationwide. You can also find them on Hasbro.com

My Thoughts

Furby has been around for over a decade and the newest addition to the family is more interactive than ever. This little guy has several personalities that come out as you perform different actions. If you feed him a lot he'll take on his "foodie" aspect or he'll be a diva if you play a lot of music. He can also be hyper, evil and silly. Furby has his own language but it's easy to pick up and the toy comes with a book of translations to help you get started. The more you play with him, the more English he learns.

For even more Furby fun, you can download the Furby Boom app. This allows you to interact even more with the toy by feeding him virtual food, giving him a bath, and even creating a whole litter of little baby Furbies. Using the app also allows your Furby to remember the name you've given him and other pets he meets.

When you're all done playing, just pull the tail and hold it for a few seconds and your Furby will go to sleep, eliminating the possibility of being woken up by him in the middle of the night. I have four children ranging in age from 2-13 and they are all having fun with the Furby. Granted, it's a little too complicated for the younger ones to play with independently, but with the bigger ones helping it becomes a fun toy for the whole family.
