My Thoughts

Tickety Toc is new to our family, but is quickly becoming a family favorite.  The series revolves around twins Tommy and Tallulah. The show and its clockwork world are so popular, they've spawned a fun line of toys available exclusively at Toys R' Us. My kids got to test out a few of them and they were so excited.

The first toy we tried is the Clock house. The set comes with a house, train tracks, a Pufferty shaped train and action figures of the twins. My son is obsessed with trains, so we've tried out a lot of toys with tracks that had to be assembled. This one is far easier to put together than most. The pieces snap right into place with little effort and and my four year-old daughter can even put it together independently. It takes less than five minutes to get it set up. Once assembled, the car cruises down the tracks with ease.  You can also use the cogs to open secret doors for even more fun inside the house. I really like that there are no tiny pieces to get lost. It's also sturdy and well-made. I've only had it a few days, but it stood up to my toddler tossing it down the stairs.  This set really brings the show to life and would make a great gift for little fans!

The musical Pufferty train was an even bigger hit with my kids than the Clock House. My son's two favorite things are dogs and trains, so you an imagine this was epic for him. The train is designed to look just like Pufferty from the show. He even has the little conductor's hat. The back of the train has two cars that the Tommy & Tallulah action figures can ride in. Also, when you press the smoke stack, the car plays the show's theme song.  One of the best parts about this toy is that there's no assembly required. It's all one piece, except for the dolls that can ride in the caboose. Even the batteries are included which is a big plus. There are also no little pieces that will get lost. My kids love this train so much, I may have to get a second one so they each have one of their own.
