I am always on the look out for more natural alternatives for my household. Fabric softener is one of those things that I know causes residue on my clothes, but I just like the smell too much to give it up. When I first saw the sample bottle I received from Purex, I thought it was it was bath salts, because that is exactly what it looks like.  The bottle is clearly marked to show you exactly what portion you need to use. A little bit really goes a long way with this stuff. You just toss a little into the wash. When you move it over to the dryer it automatically softens and fluffs up all your clothes. As an added bonus, it also smells amazing. I got to try the Fresh Mountain Breeze variety but I am also dying to try out the lavender.
