We are all goddesses, so its important that we treat our bodies with respect. That includes our skin. Its summer and there are lots of fun outdoor activities to take part in, but its important to remember to put on sunblock when you're outside. Both my mom and my grandfather had skin cancer, so I know how important a good sunblock can be. But at the same time, I worry about the chemicals that might be in them. So I was thrilled to find Goddess Garden Sunscreen, a company that makes their products using organic and natural ingredients.
For my review, I received both the kids and babies sunscreens to try out, and I am loving them. These sunscreens are made with 82% certified organic ingredients, but still provide SPF 30, which is a high level of protection. Their non greasy formula spreads evenly and rubs in like a moisturizer so skin won't feel skinny after applying. There are no harsh chemical smells, its water resistant, and it works like a charm. Even after hours at the beach, we were all sunburn free. It also comes in an awesome spray form that makes getting kids covered quick and easy. In seconds I had my two older kids ready to go.In addition to their children's sunblocks, Goddess Garden also offers lots of great products for grown ups. Of course they have adult sunscreens, but they also offer sun repair products including toners, serums, and cleansers, which can help undue the damage the sun has already caused to your skin. Shipping is free on orders over $45, so its a great time to stock up. Also, be sure to head over to One2Try and see what Rita thought about her Goddess Garden sunscreen.
One lucky winner is going to receive both a kids and babies sunscreen just like the one I received to review. To enter, just visit Goddess Sunscreen and tell me something you learned. I learned that natural sunscreen is effective in blocking sun immediately, compared with conventional sunscreen which must be applied 15-20 minutes before sun exposure to see results.
