Licorice International Review & Mother's Day Giveaway

Everyone likes to eat candy sometimes. But too much sugar isn't good for you and who knows what kind of ingredients are going into most of the candy out there.  As a mom, I hate to deny my kids the things that make them happy, but I want to make healthy choices. That's why I was happy to discover Licorice International. They have dozens of tasty licorice treats the whole family loves, many of which are made with all natural ingredients or are gluten free. With Mother's Day coming up, it reminds me of my grandmother because licorice was always one of her favorite gifts.

For my review, I was lucky enough to get to pick out two varieties of licorice. It was not an easy choice
because they have hundreds of options from all over the world. Finally, we decided on the Bridge Mix and the Cherry Chews. Both  flavors come in 1/2 lb packages which  lasts for quite a while.  The Cherry Chews are gluten free. They are very tasty with a light fruit flavor. The Bridge mix has a more traditional licorice taste and the pieces just seem to melt in your mouth.  One of the best things about them is that they don't leave behind an after taste like some licorice.  They are a unique snack option that I can feel good about giving to my family because they are made with only the best ingredients and still have a great taste.

Licorice is one of the oldest confectionery candies in the world and a great tradition to pass down to our children..  When you choose Licorice International, you know you are getting the kind of quality that only comes with experience. If you are interested  in making a purchase , now would be a great time. New Age Mama readers are being offered an exclusive discount. Just enter the code NAM5 to receive $5 off your order, now through June 30th. With prices already low, you can't ask for a better deal. Its almost like getting a 1/2 pound for free!

In honor of Mother's Day, one lucky winner is going to receive a $15 Gift Certificate to use towards any flavor of licorice they want. To enter, just visit Licorice International and tell me what kind you would get if you were the lucky winner. 166. I would get the Black Pipes by Leaf (Finnish licorice) for hubby. I haven't seen these since childhood. I would also get Haribo Konfekt (German licorice). It almost looks like a licorice I used to get that I think was called "Allsorts" from England. I miss Callard & Bowser's licorice. Can you tell that I really LOVE licorice?
