Do Tell Family Edition Review & Giveaway
I love family game night, but sometimes the games the kids want to play can be really boring for the grown up in me. I love finding a game that appeals to both kids and adults. It adds a whole new dimension to a game when its really fun for all of us. One game like that is Do Tell Family Addition. Designed for ages eight and older, my children and I enjoyed every second of this fun, interactive board game.
Do Tell is a game that changes ordinary family game night into quality family time where you will actually get to know each other better. It encourages families to open up to each other in fun and surprising ways. All you have to do is roll the dice, move your token and pick a card. The fun begins as each of the players reveal things about themselves to their family members. There are four different types of cards. The "Do Cards" will reveal your hidden talents. The "Tell Cards" encourages you to share your feelings and experiences. The "Risk Cards" add a little excitement to the game. And the "Wild Cards" shake up the movement around the board.
Do Tell Family Editions is getting lots of attention. It recently won the Kidlutions Preferred Product Award because it exemplifies what social development is all about. My kids loved the game from the colorful board and cards to the interesting things they learned about their mom and step dad. Its a great game that encourages bonding between family members. Its also a great way to learn what is important to your children in a way that won't make it seem like you're prying. I hope my kids will continue to enjoy this game as they grow into tweens and teens.
One lucky winner is going to receive a copy of Do Tell Family Edition. To enter, visit Do Tell and tell me something you learned. For additional entries, you can do any of the following, but you must complete this initial entry first. Any entries that do not follow these guidelines will be deleted.

Their blog suggested it could be fun for college students to connect. As a former community advisor (aka resident assistant), I could easily see how this could really help build community and relationships in college dorms for example.

it says this game is good for therapists - i'm thinking i'd donate it to my friend's classroom - she teaches children with autism, and is always looking for good ways to teach social development.
