Bodhichitta Botanicals Review & Mother's Day Giveaway

There are some companies you know you are going to love as soon as you look at the website. Its almost like an instant connection. That's what happened with me and Bodhichitta Botanicals. I love the name. I love the boho style bottles, and I love that their products are made with only all natural ingredients like essential oils and herbs. As someone who has spent hours researching the natural healing power of herbs and oils, this company instantly appealed to me. And the Wiccan in me loves the names of their different lines like Sacred Temple, Nurture the Goddess, and Wild & Free.




For my review, I was sent two of their wonderful products to try out. The first is the Sacred Temple Shower Gel. This gel is scented with cardamon, frankincense, and vetiver, giving it a nice earthy scent. These particular ingredients are designed to help with awareness, connection and inspiration, and it definitely does its job. While I was feeling a little sluggish before my shower, washing with this gel perked me right up. I found that I was filled with ideas, and was able to sit and write a few chapters of my newest book, something that hasn't happened since I got pregnant.  The gel lathers nicely and leaves you with a deep down clean feeling. The sweet scent will linger long after you have finished your shower.





I also got to try the Nurture the Goddess Lotion. This line is designed to promote balance and relaxation, something we all need in our lives at one time or another. Lavender has always been one of my favorite essential oils because of its healing qualities, but in combination with the rose, geranium, and clary sage, its like walking through a spring garden. The scent is as uplifting as it is calming and relaxing, and its a great choice for the morning or evening skin care applications. It goes on smooth and leaves behind no greasy residue, and skin will feel soft and touchable for hours after just one use.

These are only two examples of so many wonderful products that you can find at Bodhichitta Botanicals.  All of their products contain no petroleum, synthetic preservatives, or artificial colors because they use only the bounty of nature to make them.
