Giant Microbes Review & Easter Giveaway

 My son has suffered with ear infections since he was a baby. Barely a month goes by where he doesn't have at least one, and more than once he had fevers so high we wound up in the ER. He never understood much about where ear infections came from or what caused them, but now thanks to Giant Microbes, he has a better understanding of this ailment, as well a a new friend to cuddle with on the days when his ear infections start to act up.

Giant Microbe's great toys that are based on what the actual germs and bugs that cause sicknesses look like, only magnified a million times. We were lucky enough to be able to review the plush Ear Ache. Not only is he cute and cuddly with his bright orange fur and big eyes, he also comes with lots of info about what causes ear infections in children. My son learned that many ear infections are caused by the tubes in the ears being shorter  and straighter than adult's tubes, which allows bacteria to enter with easier access. This little toy not only provided educational info for both of us, but also made ear aches seem a little less threatening because the plush ear ache is just too cute not to love.

The ear ache is only one of dozens of plush and vinyl animals you can choose from on the Giant Microbes site. They also have ailments like diarrhea, the flu, stomach aches, sore throats, and the common cold.   They also have mini dolls in a petri dish and some of the dolls even make sounds.  All of the toys are available for everyday low prices and would make a unique and educational gift for any child this Easter.
