I know I must be getting old when I hear myself saying things like "when I was a kid..." But its true that things aren't the same. Not even the candy is the same. I always tell my kids about the Wax Candies that were one of my favorite Halloween treats. They looked like bottles of soda. You could bite off the wax top and drink the extra sweet liquid inside. I told my kids about them a thousand times and they just rolled their eyes at me. But now, thanks to Old Time Candy Company, they got to try them, and lots of other old favorites, for the first time.
With Valentine's Day coming, if you want to give someone a really unique gift that will send them back in time, consider Old Time Candy Company. They even have a special Valentine's Day selection. They also have Christmas, Halloween, and Birthday selections. If you are having a party, then Old Time Candy would make unique and exciting party favors. No matter what occasion you are celebrating, if you love candy and you love a walk down memory lane, this is the company for you.
One lucky winner is going to receive a four pound box of candy in the decade of their choice. To enter, just visit their website and tell me which kind of candy brings back memories for you. ReplyDeleteBig League Chew! I can't believe that it's even made anymore. I haven't seen it in years. I'd try to stuff the whole freakin' package in my mouth as a kid.
ReplyDeleteWarheads~! When those came out, we all challenged each other to "sour-offs." LoL. The Lemon and Green Apple ones were the most sour, so we'd see how many we could handle all at once. The most I recall I could handle was seven.
