Books open up a whole new world of imagination.  Even now as an adult, I still get lost in the pages of a good book. I put myself in the place of the heroine, and imagine what it would be like to be her. When I read books to my children, I always see their eyes open with wonder. For our review, I choose the Little Mermaid story book. Willow is the main character in the story and while she is a little to young to appreciate her name being in it now, I'm sure in a few years she will be just as impressed as by older children. They were excited about seeing their names mentioned only a few times, even though they are already reading chapter books. The book itself is hardback so it will hold up well. The illustrations are beautiful and graphic and the story about Willow helping the little mermaid save her father from the evil sea serpent is exiting. The child's name is mentioned on almost page and will really make them feel like they are part of a magical wonderland.
