Holiday Gift Guide - Wits & Wagers Family Review & Giveaway

 My family loves to play games and we are always looking for new ones to add to our collection. A lot of the games we play are fun for the kids but not always challenging for the adults. But the adult games are usually too hard for the kids. Rarely do you find a game that blurs the age lines and makes things exciting for the whole family. But games like that do exist, and Wits & Wagers Family is one of them.


Wits and Wagers Family comes with a selection of  large and small tokens called "Meebles", a score board, answer boards and questions cards.  To play, you take turns reading the questions and everyone gets to answer them. Questions can range from the number of colors in the Fruit Loops box to where is the tallest movie screen located. You aren't expected to know all answers exactly. You just take your best guess and write it down. Now comes the really fun part. You have to guess who's answers are correct or the closest to the correct. You place your Meebles on the best answers. You can split them up to double your chances or use them one the answer. Once the correct answer is revealed, whoever guessed best gets the points for that round.  Whoever reaches 15 points first wins the game!

 Wits & Wagers Family is designed for ages eight and older. My two children, who are eight and ten, had no trouble following along and enjoyed the questions and the excitement of  wagering on who had the best answers. It is a thought provoking game that encourages thought and imagination. Its also a great way to learn some new facts! My husband and I enjoyed it just as much as the kids. The questions are challenging and its fast paced and exciting. This is a great game to add to your family game night collection.
