Holiday Gift Guide - Vego 360 Telescope Review & Giveaway

All week long, I told you about some of the great toys and games you can find at Educational Insights. I wanted to wrap it up with my favorite toy of all. One of the things my son really wanted this year was a telescope. Most of them are pretty expensive, and I wasn't sure I was going to be able to pull it off this year. But at Educational Insights, I found a telescope that works great and was available at a great price. While I did receive it as complimentary sample  for review purposes, this is definitely something I would have bought.  At only $ 44.99, the Vega 360 Telescope is the bet price for a telescope I have come across to date.

 The telescope arrived just in time for the full moon, and even I was excited to try it out. It didn't take us long to get the hang of adjusting the lens to find what we were looking for.  Before long, we had a clear view of the full round moon in all her glory. We were even able to see all the cracks and crevasses. I was amazed at the power in this telescope, which is designed for children. Years ago, I bought my ex-husband an adult telescope that cost three times the price and didn't work half as well.

But wait, there is more to tell you about the Vego 360. This isn't just a night time gadget. You can use it any time of day. It comes with a variety of magnifiers that also allow you to view trees, birds and all the other aspects of nature. Its a great way to get kids interested in the world around them. Just make sure they don't use it to peek inside your neighbor's window-LOL
