Holiday Gift Guide - Red Envelope Night Before Christmas Activity Set Review & Giveaway

The night before Christmas is an exciting night. Kids are on the edge of their seats waiting for Santa to arrive.  But sometimes the anticipation of what is to come makes the night seem to take forever. Well, Red Envelope has come up with a wonderful way to pass the time. The Night Before Christmas Activity set is a fun way to get ready for Santa's arrival and pass the time until he gets there all in one exciting package.

In my house, its always been a tradition to get one gift to open on Christmas Eve. If you like to do this too, than the Night Before Christmas Activity Set is a great idea for you. It comes packaged in a bright red box with a big bow. On the side is a slot that tells you "Open by December 24th". Inside the slot you'll find some instructions from the big guy himself, explaining how the kit works. My kids were excited to open the box, even though it was a "practice" run for review purposes. Inside, they found a package or cookies and hot cocoa, an adorable matching mug and dish for Santa, the story of "The Night Before Christmas" by Clement Clarke Moore, and a Reindeer Activity Book.
 

The Reindeer activity book is loaded with lots of fun games to help you pass the time as you wait for Santa. You can play "Where is Santa" by hiding the picture of Santa and letting the kids look for him, Or "Santa Says" which is basically a Christmas version of Simon Says. Or Frostbite which is the cold version of "Hot Potato".  These are only a few examples. There are lots of other pages, plus black pages to write letters to Santa. All the games are simple but fun for kids of all ages. Once it starts to get late and kids are tired of playing their Reindeer Games, they can set up the cookies and hot chocolate for Santa, read the story, and go to sleep with visions of way more than sugar plums dancing in their heads.  This is an adorable gift set that would make a great gift for any child this holiday season. Just make sure to get it to them early!
