Holiday Gift Guide - K'NEX Nascar Building Set Review & Giveaway

My son doesn't know all that much about Nascar. But he does love cars. He loves race cars, dump trucks, fire trucks and just about anything with wheels. He also loves building with blocks. So of course I knew he would love the new Nascar building sets that are now available from K'NEX. They make the perfect holiday gift for any little boy and would be especially nice for a Nascar fan.

For our review, we received the #88 Amp Energy Car Building Set   These are pretty easy to assemble. My son did most of it on his own. The pieces snap together easily and it even includes the official Nascar Hologram. When its completed  you can actually push it like any toy car and the driver can come in and out.  Luckily, we also have the 350 piece tub because, as was inevitable when dealing with kids, several pieces disappeared and we were able to replace them with the tub. But the tub also contains enough pieces to make 20 unique models.

            

In addition to the cars themselves, the Nascar series includes lots of other great building sets including  a garage, a crew pit, additional cars and more. All of them are geared for ages five an up and should be easy enough for most kids to complete with little to no help. This exciting series is fun to collect just as much as it is to play with and even some adult Nascar fans like my dad thought it was pretty cool.
