Zuvo Water Purator Review & Giveaway

I am doing my best run a green household. Which means what we are no longer buying bottled water.  This is not only green but a great way to save money. But of course, I need to know the water my kids are drinking is safe and clean. I have tried lots of different types of water purification products in the last few years, but my favorite is definitely the Zuvo Water Purator.

The Zuvo is different from other systems because it cleanses water the same way that nature does. It uses a powerful five step UV/Ozone Cleansing process.  When water goes through the Zuvo, it is experiencing the same effect as it would going the ozone and the earth. It is exposed to high ultraviolet light that effectively kills 99% of harmful contaminants like chlorine, animal waste, lead and other health hazards.

The technical stuff can be hard to understand, but the most important fact is that the Zuvo cleans your water and makes it taste great. Hooking it up is simple too. You just attach it to your faucet and the water runs through it. The kids thought it was pretty cool to see it shining with its ultraviolet glow and being able to use the filter is giving them more incentive to drink water over soda and other sugar filled drinks.

If you are thinking about getting a water purifier, the Zuvo is definitely the way to go. It uses a light bulb which is much easier to replace than most filters and requires less energy than a toaster. It cleans more than 400 gallons at a rate of a 1/2 gallon per minute. It retails for only $149.99.  But the if you think of how much you will save over buying water bottles for replacement filters, the Zuvo will pay for itself in no time.

One very lucky winner is going to receive a Zuvo Water Purator of their very own. To enter, please visit the Zuvo website and tell me something you learned. For additional entries you can do any of following, but you must complete this initial entry first. Any entries that do not follow these guidelines will be deleted.

  109. There should be little, if any, noticeable change in your electricity bill as a result of using the Zuvo Water Purator. The system uses electricity only when it is on. For the few minutes a day that the Zuvo Purator is used, it draws just 27 watts of power. By way of comparison, most light bulbs in your home are 60 watts or higher and they are typically turned on for long periods of time when in use
