Salty Seas & His Heroic Friends Review and Giveaway

Since we live at the Jersey Shore, we are always seeing boats and we know a lot of fisherman. So when I saw Salty Seas & His Heroic Friends, I knew this would be the perfect book for my children. This book tells the story of a little shrimp boat named Salty and his animal friends who live along the coast in Louisiana. The story goes through the steps of explaining what the shrimping boats do and how they work as well as introducing you to many of the wildlife of the area.

Later you get to the exciting part of the story where the captain of the ship falls overboard. Salty and all his brave friends work together to save the captain. Its an adorable story that not only teaches about life on the sea, but also teaches kids the importance of teamwork.
